Дошли эти религии и до Японии, и если в случае с христианством ситуация весьма позитивная, то ислам по сей день сталкивается с трудностями. Эта «религия пустыни» оказалась в стране восходящего солнца гораздо позже своей «сестры», и несмотря на весьма богатую историю, находится в современной Японии в состоянии постоянной турбулентности. Однако представители религии, японцы, такие как Нода Сё:таро:, Ямада Торадзиро:, Бумпатиро Арига, Танака Иппэй, Мита Умар, а также иностранцы, такие как Аббас Махмуд Аль-Аккад, Кари Сарфараз Хусейн, Абдурашид Ибрагим, продвигают ее в стране, которой ислам, как кажется, совершенно не подходит.В наши дни большое количество мусульман живут и работают в Японии, среди них есть как мусульмане-японцы, так и иммигранты из Индонезии, Пакистана, Турции и России. Мечети как крупнейшие мусульманские религиозные центры ведут образовательную и социальную деятельность, а также налаживают связи с японской общественностью.На территории Японии действуют исламские НКО: Japan Islamic Trust (JIT), Japan Muslim Education Trust (JMET), Japan Muslim Association (AJMA), Japan Halal Association (JHA) и другие организации, чья основная цель – облегчать и улучшать жизнь мусульман. Задачи статьи – изучить этапы процесса проникновения ислама в Японию и выделить вклад видных мусульман, как японцев, так и иностранцев, в продвижение этой религии; выяснить, как обстоит дело с современной жизнью мусульман в Японии, какие есть положительные, отрицательные моменты и как мусульманские организации и община участвуют в жизни японского общества.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Abrahamic religions have long been the mainstay of many countries around the world. These religions have also reached Japan, and while the situation with Christianity is very positive, Islam still faces difficulties. This “desert religion” came to the Land of the Rising Sun much later than its “sister,” and, despite its rich history, it is in a state of constant turbulence in modern Japan. However, representatives of the religion, both Japanese, such as Noda Shtar, Torajir Yamada, Bumpachirō Ariga, Tanaka Ippei, Umar Mita, and foreigners, such as Abbas Mahmoud Al-Akkad, Qari Sarfaraz Hussein, and Abdurashid Ibrahim, are promoting it in a country to which Islam seems totally unsuited. In modern world, large numbers of Muslims live and work in Japan, among them both Japanese Muslims and immigrants from Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, and Russia.Mosques, as the largest Muslim religious centers, engage in educational and social activities, as well as building ties with the locals. Finally, there are Islamic NGOs operating in Japan: Japan Islamic Trust (JIT), Japan Muslim Education Trust (JMET), Japan Muslim Association (AJMA), Japan Halal Association (JHA), and other organizations the main task of which is to facilitate and improve the lives of Muslims.The objectives of this article are to study the stages of the process of Islam’s penetration into Japan and to highlight the contribution of prominent Muslims, both Japanese and foreigners, to the promotion of this religion; to find out what the situation with the contemporary life of Muslims in Japan is, what are the positive and negative aspects, and how Muslim organizations and community participate in the life of Japanese society.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>ислам</kwd><kwd>Япония</kwd><kwd>мечеть</kwd><kwd>халяльная еда</kwd><kwd>исламофобия</kwd><kwd>мусульманские ритуалы</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Islam</kwd><kwd>Japan</kwd><kwd>mosque</kwd><kwd>halal food</kwd><kwd>Islamophobia</kwd><kwd>Muslim rituals</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Badawi, H.
